  depends on the flash version and OS.

  i always use
  File > Export Movie > Quicktime Video > compression none

  after that i open it in Movieplayer, and export to AVI without further compression.

  Maybe someone else knows something about the MPEG4-video export from FlashMX, is that ok for DVD without further changes?
