My advice, also being 20 and from LA, is to get a lot of work off of craiglist simply by writing absolutely absurd emails and sending a few examples - try putting a posting on there yourself just to see the kind of crap applicants that come in, LA is apparenly 99% devoid of talent. And now that you have lots of money come hang out at the Thunderbird in North Hollywood, they dont usually card on weeknights - and on nights like tonight you can smoke inside and hang around till 3 getting free shots. Yes it is a glorious age.
