    very true aprilrains.

people from other religions can be very kind. even people who are atheistic can be much more loving in some ways than some christians.

pointing that out, i do believe that this started somewhere, that we have an internal, innate sense of right and wrong. that it couldn't possibly have arose out of evolution. why would an atheist have a sense of right and wrong? (this is how i arrived at some of my conclusions, by really searching out answers and not just relying on what some preacher spits from the pulpit. especially televangelists. they harm christianity way more than they help it.)

if we have morality, then it must have come from some god. in researching religious beliefs and texts, only Jesus Christ makes claims of exclusivity. for me, i must either choose to accept his claims or reject them. you cannot ignore what this man says.

i have chosen to accept what he says because i believe first that the biblical text is accurate and second, that because the text is accurate, Jesus' life proved that he was who he said he was through his miracles and through his perfect sinless life. if he had made his exclusive claims and not backed it up, it would be worth nothing.

    peace
