The Avant Garde Alts got caught up in a wacky sublicensing mess between ITC and Scangraphic. Since SG doesn't technically exist anymore, no one is licensed to sell them.
FontShop Australia lists them at their site, but I'm not sure if they are really authorized to sell them. Please let us know if they really do sell them to you.
