overall, i think the site is well done...clear nav, very clean, lets you quickly browse to the work and showcases it...very nice....
one thing that i would change would be to make the nav rollovers consistent...on the index you have bg ornaments animating in, great...use them on the subpages as well..why the alt tag rollover on some subpages?..its inconsistent, and they provide no additional info, get rid of them...and i would rethink the bg color changer in the portfolio...i dont know many photographers who think a pink bg is good for showcasing their work...i think it would be cool for the user to be able to change the brown to black/white/grey...also i know you are probably loading external swfs, but if you can avoid having the nav animate in and out every time you got to a new section, i think that would be an improvement....
otherwise, strong site, and sweet animation masking....
