By default, email software such as Outlook et al will disallow embedded flash files, but recipients can rectify this by changing their IE security level settings to Internet Security (or some thing like that effect).
This was the only way I was able to receive say the group94 newsletter in the intented way.
Its always a good idea to upload the html email as a page in itself so if recipients can't view it in their mail client, they can follow a text link instead on the email.
