in iTunes, make sure you setting are set at MP3 and not at AAC. go to your library, select the song, go to "ADVANCED" in iTunes and select "convert to MP3"
It'll make a copy of the song, so you'll have 2 of them. if your not sure which one is the MP3, just do an open apple+I and it'll say it.
