The first time wasn't too bad. I was young & he was stupid.
The second was very painful and unnecessarily drawn out. I was cruel to him because I was unhappy & searching for answers. But I got what I deserved in the end. We were friends and lovers again after the dust settled, but I think in the end we both realized we were going in different directions.
Everything has basically worked out now, though, for the better, I think. I hope. Sounds like he's happy & so am I.
