  My other half understands completely - maybe I'm lucky. She understands how tough it is to keep up with the trends and keep the creativity flowing. I make sure I tell her when I'm going to be doing freelance work (in advance) and she stocks up on girly DVDs and bags of popcorn ;)

  I also make it up by sharing all the extra money with her - go out to fancy dinners, etc. to say thanks.
