the valley is as bad as everyone says.
it is super-ass hot in the summer. absolutely no culture or community to speak of, and the crime is worse than in the city.
(at least in the areas beween NoHo and Van Nuys)
it is a sea of speed addicts, and trucker hats.
spend 20 minutes there and you wil be begging to go back to Denver.
if you want a community, you need to be near the beach. seems like all of those beach towns (redondo, manhattan, etc) are real tight. a little pricey, but probably worth it.TR1
