In the same post-modern way that hip-hop ballet sucks..... so does your site.
A pastiche of street art, psudo-classical ballet and fun smiling white people is not acomplishing anything but being unappealing. Pick one. That decision should be based on what the site is intended to acomplish and whom your target audience is.
Ideas:
1. Type-Pick a one type style and stick with it.
2. Illustration-If street art is the appropriate direction... consult actual street art. Your rectalinear backgrounds don't look authentic.
3. Photos-Take your own! The masked out group shots are really amatureish.Your motion/pacing is really good, and so is your basic navigation layout.
