2: The really BIG things in life never happen when you want them to or when you're looking for them. They always sneak up on you and smack you in the arse when you least expect it.
3: No matter how daunting, big changes are almost ALWAYS worth the risk.

i must also add in the past i have made some bad decisions but i learned quite a big deal out of them that help me in my decision making process.
trial&error, don't be afraid, it's worth it.
