What the US is doing over there is really dirty. It's not responding to the democratic will of the people - cos that wud be too dangerous. It's in the processing of installing a "puppet" regime that will be tied to the US for atleast a decade to come. Economically and militarily. If it stops balatantly propping up American dominance of the oil economy, maybe the Iraqis wud trust them more and this whole mess cud be fixed.
