VIN numbers are actually pretty simple, the first digits are the country code (US(1or4), Germany(W)) the second is the manufacturer (ford, BMW) and so on.
only the last few numbers (12th -17th) are the Rollout number, Which is unique per vehical, everything else identifies Year/make/model/features
those are what i need, what codes represent what. this is available info, I guess i'll just have to call the D.O.T. or Ford or something.
