you have to admit that the in-house designer's got it all over on you....baarrrfff.
Join the club. You're the victim of the in-house "designer" who is pissed that he wasn't allowed to do the job in the first place and now he's got an ally in an equally stupid marketing person.
Your only option is to articulate why your design is better but they won't be able to hear it anyway.
