Im actually a Villa fan and only started liking Arsenal over the past few years because of the great football they play.
As for pires, i think it was more of an off-balance flying arm rather than a deliberate smack at the face. They also say studs up is an automatic red card...
Never the better team? I must admit the game was quite boring, but you mainly have Man U to blame for that. They left all the attacking up to 2-3 players after they scored, it was all defensive. It was dissappointing to someone like me, who likes to watch an exciting match. I guess quite a few coaches would have done that anyway.
There's no doubt it my mind that Arsenal had the majority of possession. They weren't so effective with their time on the ball, but as i said, Man U hit defensive mode as soon as they scored which makes things very hard.Overall though, i'm mostly pissed off at the quality of the game itself, the ref and dicks like keane. If Wenga really wanted the trebble, he would have had his best team on the park to begin with.
On keane, yeah, on his day he can look great and be vital to the final outcome of a game. But still, he's a dirty mongrel, no doubt about it. You can still be a hard working, tough player without the stupidity.
