Alright alright alright some geekdom here. Lucas is first off doing this as its his story, its how he intended it to be. As for mgs' pointed out flaws, shiny robots and fast ships etc. Thats part of the story if you paid any sort of attention, the world before the 4,5,6 movies was an awesome place filled with technologies beyond belief.... then the empire happened. shit fell apart... wal-mart syndrome i call it..... Yeah'll I'll agree phantom menace was really hard to swallow, but for any avid star wars fan attack of the clones was so going in the right direction..... stop dissing a movie simply because you rate your sw iq on the number of pairs of SW underoos you shat yourself in and more on the stories you pick up in the books, comics and cartoons along the way.... GL is simply making money doing what he likes, who cares if you buy into it with your fascist idea based on three movies that were intended to simply spotlight a glimpse of an entire 'fairly' creative universal story.
