I loved the original star wars as much as anyone (especially poor Greedo), but Lucas as a filmmaker is totally overrated.
It's the actors that made the first three, some chemistry they had between them.
Now everything is stale, boring, safe, and even offensive (jar jar and the chinese trade union). I guess actors need real people to interact with, not cgi suggestions.
