Yes, designing for yourself is FAR more difficult than designing for a client.
--------------------------brooke, ide have to disagree with you there. I feel that when your designing for yourself you can let yourself go creatively and theres no rules or barriers. anything goes. When your designing for a client.... you sometimes need to follow their guidelines, theres specs you need to follow... and you need to design to fit there company look and feel... which lets face it, can sometimes be very boring.
