I don't mean to be condescending, I meant to be honest. I was in the same boat.... I'm finally rid of all illegal software. Its pretty nice knowing I own all my tools and I respect them because they are my livelihood. Any freelancer is a business, and they need to think that way. You are in the same boat as the big businesses and you need to pay for what helps you a long the way... to think you're in some other class because you are an individual is ridiculous, you're fighting for the same clients and the same jobs afterall you should be paying the same for the same tools. imo.
