A hammer is equivalent to a pack of pencils or a cheap mouse mate..... a plasma welder does about the work photoshop does and it took me a while to come to the same realization.... but it's worth it. And yes, I know where they make their money but, they also lose when thousands of kids are running around saying their graphic designers charging 50 dollars a logo and pirating their software driving down the income of designers and the security of software developers jobs....
