It's just about the ratio of crap to non-crap. Yah, by ignoring a lot of people there's less to sift thru, and it means you might miss something valuable. I realize it's a trade off. But the NT'ers obviously realized not reading topics is not enough for some people, say for example if crap 20 are posted for every one that I find interesting. Ignore is mo' better.
