i bring my flash animations into AE for video work. I don't really use AE for web. The video stuff turns out great tho. I use flash for most all my text and vector animations in my video work.
Experiment. Export a flash movie as a PNG, then import the sequence into AE using alpha. Just play around and see what happens.
