Scenarios
Personas focus on the people whereas scenarios focus on the situation. Tell a story of stakeholders, activites and artifacts. The stories are often fictional BUT may be based on real data. Use personas within the story.
Different kinds of scenarios:
Problem Scenarios: current practices, activites, stakeholders, artifacts...
Design Scenarios: invent new practices, envision the future
These types can broken down even further:
Daily use (check stocks)
Necessary use (take a piss)
Edge case - special cases and activites that occur infrequently
