To rely on such shock elements involving sex, violence, and death to get quick attention is nothing new .
I agree that the term "rape" does carry serious negative connotations, which will definitely offend a number of viewers, but apart from trying to be creative and unique, if their intention was just to create a controversy, they are successful for that matter .
