sounds like you are already off to a good start.
sorry no examples of a letter, or intro, but here are some things that have worked for me.
You might want to get some testimonials for the piece.
You'll be dealing with no-creatives, so maybe lean towards the bottom line. How much does it cost and how much $$ can they make from it.
people want results.Try to get site credits too, everyone checks their competions sites.
