If I may say so, you're being tough on yourself. This is a good thing, but it can work against you. Whilst checking out 'the competition', don't get hung up on the fact that there's some insane shit out there. Remember, in design, there will always be someone better than you.
As for school, probably a waste of time unless you seriously can't find any work...real world experience is a better education for the most part.
As for design, this recanned from what everyone has already said, but what makes your real fall below its potential is the choice of color, type, and music. And lose the word "Fanatical"...that sounds kinda terroristic.
You're on the right track, and if you can take constructive and destructive criticism as well as you have been doing so far, you'll be just fine. Just keep your chin up and get cranking on a new reel, kid! Best of luck, amigo.
