d, i had a bad rescued dog forced on my like 4 years ago. me and my x already rescued one german shepard (which i still have), he was happy as a clam but no, she decides he needs a buddy. so she rescues another one. a beautifull dog, seriously, she was a real odd looking sheapard, light tan and black. never seen one like that since.
BUT, this dog was beat to shit by its prev owners. i mean this pooch was sketchy. and my x was like, dont worry, i;ll train her. yeah right. she didnt do shit. i had to work with that dog everyday til she got used to having someone that loved her. it was a long hard battle but she came around.
the only thing was, she wouldnt let my other dog eat. i would feed them both on opposite sides of the yard and she would go pick up his full dish and trek it back to her side. she got fat and he got skinny. so she had to go. i gave her to a good home with a local farmer.i guess the moral of the story is, if you cant deal with it, there are people who will
