Continuing with the self-injecting trend. My wife is a Type 1 diabetic, so she’s pretty much an expert at it. It’s been years since she’s had to use needles regularly, thanks to all the new technology with sensors and pumps, but she still keeps them in her purse and car for emergencies. I’ve always thought it would be hilarious if she got pulled over and a cop searched her messy ass SUV and found needles everywhere lol.
She’s also been microdosing a GLP-1 for a few months now, and it’s been really good for her. So that’s one shot in the gut every week. She gave me a couple of shots, but they didn’t do shit for me. I couldn’t bear the thought of injecting myself, so of course, she had to do it for me.
- Get out there and ride your bike more, mate—and forget about the insulin. My dad’s blood sugar is through the roof, and he doesn’t take anything for it.OBBTKN
- ^ that is the worst possible advice you could offer to a Type 1 diabetic. I'm one, so qualified to know that much.mort_
