Blown away this evening having had ai help me create a 12 page brochure in under 2 hours.
I was given a word file by client with all the text and data content.
Gave Claude the word file and told it to take design cues, palette etc from the company website. And said to add placeholders for images.
It gave me a load of SVG's back that I could paste into A4 illustrator pages.
I acted as a design director making some type and copy edits. Made some little tweaks to the header throughout.
Got ChatGPT to create studio style photography of the products from the company at the image size ratio used in the brochure designs. I then placed images throughout brochure.
With 10 of the pages being table and data heavy, this brochure would've taken me a good few nights to do all manually.

- i love the idea of this but in our org the concern is feeding AI a bunch of information we wouldn't want to get out. is that concern for you?scruffics
- It was for a brochure so all info in it would be in public domain anyway when published.microkorg
- It was AI that did the design here, but rather than directing it to the website for inspiration I could've designed some template pages so that the AI was...microkorg

- Scruffics, yes, it's a tool that saves us time IMO, that's all. The same as computers saved time not having to typeset or mockup with Letraset.microkorg
- Dmay, Claude actually took influence from a detail within the logo to design pullout panels and image masks that reflected this detail that doesn't featuremicrokorg
