    @yuekit agree. definitely learn Claude Code etc.

    @prophetone had the same sentiment. Had a project that sat on the back burner for years. Skipped a few beers and paid $20 for Claude Code. Got bugs fixed in a weekend. Now I'm at the point of adding features by just describing what I want. Had Claude set up a git action for deployment: branch, commit, merge, etc are one word instructions. "Merge to main"...viola now changes are in production. It's fascinating. But also a little depressing. I feel I didn't learn anything. I no longer go to bed or eureka moment in the shower, thinking "how do I implement this one" and all the analyzing that comes with that. Or learning some new language feature. Loved that. Love that craft. But yes it did help get to final incredibly quickly.

    On the creative aspect (of the original question), I kinda try not to let it take over the creative part. Claude will suggest some feature and I updated the instructions not to. I want to come up with that on my own via inspiration or talking to my friends or etc.

    • Being pretty much self-taught since the 90s when it’s come to coding and HTML, building out websites, web apps, etc I have also loved getting in the weedsprophetone
    • So it’s been pretty hard to mentally come to grips with AI and how I personally felt it was like cheating or skipping a learning stage maybeprophetone
    • That being said I’m quickly realizing that I can use my experience and my brain to focus on new ideas, apps, plugins, games, my digital projects goalsprophetone
    • Utilize AI to burn super quickly through a set up stage(s), grunt work, get a proof of concept of an app or ui/ux feature allowing for way quicker pivotsprophetone
    • The exciting thing, for me anyway, this means possibility of quickly building out a bunch of fun app ideas, games, instead of shelving them bc ‘not enough time’prophetone
    • I hope this means leveraging 75% of the building of an app or a game to AI under my supervision, allowing for more time to focus on the creative aspects myselfprophetone
