I know it's a trend that's been around for years, but I'm increasingly seeing architects enjoying the partial renovation of country houses, preserving semi-derelict masonry and fitting prefabricated structures inside, well-insulated and with all the utilities already installed. It's fast, functional, and 'cheap'.
