not to be all schmaltzy and wholesome but my grandfathers strawberries from his greenhouse circa 1982 were the sweetest things i ever tasted as a kid.
any modern day sugar is now waaaay too sweet for me - i hate any confectionery, rarely eat chocolate or any dessert for that matter...
