    11. The eternal typography wars

    QBN's own veterans have explicitly reminisced about arguments such as:

    Univers vs Helvetica
    Pantone colours
    David Carson
    typography
    logo design
    corporate identity

    In the 2024 State of QBN thread, one user essentially begged for a return to those arguments instead of the increasingly political discussions.

    That is probably the purest description of Old QBN:

    “Univers vs Helvetica”

    could apparently sustain a community.

    And honestly, it still could.
