All these were a fiver each from a collection that I dipped into some months ago but I was welcomed back to have a final dig into before they all went to auction. The singles were amazing and I am yet to fully go through them but these are some of the albums, most are NM as the guy who owned them really looked after his stuff often buying and hardly playing them at all, crackers.

A great 1986 Australian compilation in an excellent gate-fold sleeve.

A French disc of Musique Concrète which comes in a sleeve made with Procédé Héliophore (an artisanal and industrial technique that creates shimmering, iridescent, or 3D-like moving images on metal).

There were some amazing classical albums, mostly 60's ED1 stereo editions, but lurking amongst them was this beautiful double album of picture discs featuring music from various Studio Ghibli films.

Released in 1972, not only is the music excellent, a mix of 50's & 60's classic R&R recorded by what is basically a Fairport Convention supergroup but it's the sleeve with a die-cut space under the record arm houses an extra track on a flexi-disc, double win!

Although it's nearly identical to the original 1972 issue I think this is a later bootleg pressing.

Rare US pressing of this 12" by the writer, musician, with a stellar backing band featuring members of PiL, The Raincoats and Robert Wyatt, with production credits by Adrian Sherwood & John Lydon.

The debut album from the Post Punk fusion pioneers produced by Genesis P. Orridge & Peter Christopherson of Throbbing Gristle.

The first 2 albums by the UK heavy rockers who used to be the very heavy rockers Black Cat Bones. It would have been incredible if these were the original early 70's copies but the debut (top) is a German bootleg and the their second is one of the rarest albums of the era and is the mid 00's re-issue, both came with posters.

Another crazy rare album was this one privately pressed of only 99 copies in 1971, but despite a lovingly handmade sleeve and identical labels it's an early 00's pressing, it's still pretty rare though.

    • lovely, i have that leaf hound growers of mushrooms (also a bootleg) and the 23 skidoo - but also 2010's reissue.kingsteven
