We skipped Pride again this year, left the city entirely in fact. I feel a twinge of guilt, then remember how tacky and overpriced so much of it has become, how reliant it is on fair-weather corporations, and how little of it is even for gays now.

And it never needed to be a month long.

    • What are your thoughts on the evolution of the pride flag? I hate it. I went on quite a drunken rant about it last w'end. The original worked so well.Nairn
    • It's not an evolution, it's a hostile takeover that began the moment American gays could marryi_monk

    • Very little is for gays now? Because being homosexual is simply too basic now?jagara
