    I wasn't too familiar with how "Satoshi Nakamato" appeared into the world before reading about this.

    The first people he ever emailed were Adam Back and another cryptographer Wei Dei, who had both worked on their own digital money projects. After that he presented his paper on the cryptography mailing list.

    So the theory is that it was actually Adam Back all along, and he faked an email to himself.
