Is Netlify a good choice for hosting a personal site?

  I use Netlify to host for my blog for free, it's a static site generated by Hugo. I've also been able to direct a domain to it and use https all on the free account. Granted I haven't touched it in a year and half so things might have changed but I would recommend it if nothing has changed.

  • That said my blog currently seems to be down. So maybe not all is well. I shall have to investigate now.skinny_puppy
  • Could be a Hugo security issue or patch that went sideways; I still get lots of warnings from my Netlify experiments on those.evilpeacock
