last night I was alerted by the barking of our alley dogs. When I checked, it was clear that there must be a snake and indeed there was one cornered but safe behind our gate motor. As soon as I came close it was hissing and inflating its hood: a feisty little cobra, approximately 60cm long.
Unfortunately I did not have my phone on me to take pictures. I also did not want to stress it out further by getting closer (also because one common species here is the siamese spitting cobra). So I chased the dogs away and guided the snake towards the swampy area on the side of our land. Please don't come back and do not enter our house, ever !- it was only trying to talk about it's lord and sssssthavior jessssssssuth chrissssssspango
