First off, I'm not getting in the middle of whatever squabbles some of you have with grafician, but good grief... the concerted effort to downvote anything he posts - several posts of which I see posted here, is ridiculous. He has literally posted links here that had anyone else posted, they'd be upvoted. Everything he's posted here is relevant to AI, and is mostly free from literally any perspective of his own that some of you are always hellbent on tearing apart. Some of his posts are just links, or quotes... and all downvoted.

So can some of you just like... chill?

Utopian, that 60 Minutes segment is really something. The video art that guy is making... seeing that in person would be incredible.

I think that was a well justified and rewarding use of AI. It's something that with a non-AI approach could probably be created, but would take so much longer. I can't even imagine. That's where it's fun to see AI pushed to the limit to bring to life some outrageous vision that feels brand new.

I like that the one woman talked about the ethics of AI theft, image training, etc. It feels so long ago already that it was fun for a while to use Midjourney, etc. and say "make something in this style" but I'm glad I tired of it quickly. The novelty wore off fast.

    • We're just having fun, I don't think anyone cares about votesYakuZoku
    • Votes rhymes with goats btw.YakuZoku
