Saw Ricky Gervais' latest special yesterday. Sure, he's still funny (IMO). Sure, I chuckled.
You know, I'm not a big fan of political correctness. However, comedians complaining about wokeness has become as tedious as wokeness itself. It seems so stale and 5 years ago. It went from being a rebellious breath of fresh air to being kinda smug, self-absorbed and arrogant and thus, unfunny.
It goes for people like Dave Chappelle, too. He's become pretty meh. Some people call him the GOAT, and now he refers to himself as such. Drinking your own Kool-Aid is a really bad sign.

- Can't watch Chappelle any more, too preachy and self important. I loved old self-deprecating Chappelle didn't take himself or anything too seriously. weed proba_niko
- probably fucked him up. Just angry and cynical, I just feel bad for him._niko
- Wokeness as a topic definitely seems stale today. Done to deathmort_
