On this date 31 years ago (February 1st 1995), Richey Edwards, 27, of the Manic Street Preachers disappeared without a trace. He left The Embassy Hotel in London, UK at 7am, leaving behind his packed suitcase. His car was found on the Severn Bridge outside Bristol, UK sixteen days later. Richey has never been found and in November 2008 he was declared officially dead.
