my wife and I spent the evening down the street at a friends party, and it was lovely... my daughter was downtown with her friends, and my son had a party at our house...
got home around 1:30 am or so, and the kids (well, they're all in their early 20's i guess) were all super nice and hadn't wrecked the place... had a lovely chat with a bunch of them, then we went to sleep...
