Been a while since I posted about this, but my top new years resolution is to promote this more, try to get some attention on it, and hopefully start selling some prints.

Remember the art I was sharing months ago in the generative art thread? I've been working on getting prints up on Etsy and the site that I created for it. Was hoping to have had it up before Christmas but so many things are time consuming: mockups, print configs, etc. There are hundreds and hundreds of hours in this by now, and 18+ months of slowly getting to this point. I didn't even have my eyes on selling prints until this past May, and all of this has been one of the most fun things I've ever taken on.

Kind of soft-launching it right now, adding new prints, trying to get up to 15-20 on Etsy. I'm printing with a company called Artelo in Kentucky, and they're AMAZING. All the print tests I've gotten have looked fantastic, and I landed on Epson Somerset Velvet, which is close enough to Hahnemuhle German Etching paper I loved the most. It's just too expensive. The Epson paper is great, has a nice texture, and really brings out the paper textures I'm using in the images.

Go have a browse, give me a follow. If anyone wants to buy anything, I'll do a 10% off QBN friends coupon, since many of you were so encouraging of what I've been up to.

I'm excited to see where this goes and do even more with it. I'm planning on adding canvas prints next, and if I start getting traction in 2026, adding other products like fabrics if it makes sense.

    • i like how you show a variety of what the print would look like in different environments. those are AI, right?pr2

    • Pr2. Nope - mockup packs with smart objects in PS, and a site called Canvy. They might make stuff with AI but it's all a manual process for me.mg33
    • It's the most time consuming part of it all to be honest.mg33
    • AI is taking our jobs!studderine
