    It was a rough one last year, as it was the first since my wife’s mother passed, and I had lost a job. This year is a little better, but the loss is still palpable, but I’m grateful for our resilience, our beautiful, capable boys, and the amazing village and neighborhood community of friends around us. I really feel like I couldn’t ask for anything better despite everything.
