- I never quite understood how landscape artists working on location managed to get light right since the light would not only alter the landscape colour but the_niko
- ...oil paint as well. Snow for instance is pretty much pure white but when we see it in nature it just reflects the available light so it’s anything but white._niko
- ...if the painter is trying to capture it exactly how he sees it then his paint should also be pure white as they are reflecting the same light in the same enviro_niko
- ...but the genius of these painters is that they’re able to adjust for this discrepancy instinctively._niko
