- in second part of clip I stabilized the footage to show the movement of the objectsfuturefood
- I saw you post this on imgur y'day :)
Really odd. You've no way of telling how high up/far off they were?Nairn - some kind of meteorites (we had Leonids meteor shower recently) and the wobbling caused by different altitudes. or some starlink clusters?uan
- check if you can find them on https://satellitemap… with timestamp and location :-)uan
- It's weird, you didn't get any plane over los angeles in that clip. how did the planes look in your night vision footage?uan
- @Nairn - Hard to get exact altitude, but if within the atmosphere, my best guess would be roughly 40-50k ft....futurefood
- ...This is based on planes in the same area within the flight tracker app cruising at 40,000 ftfuturefood
- @uan - In infrared, planes look like bright objects with their blinking lights. You can still observe their airstream when flying at higher altitudesfuturefood
- Thanks for satellite link. Going to check it out. This was taken Nov 24, around 10pm.futurefood
- I usually have exact time, but something was wrong with my sd card as it displays Jan 1st 4am like I never set the time XDfuturefood
- "I want to believe", but I'm also massively-skeptic, and I can't at all rationalise that curve and the follow-through of the third's movement.Nairn
- Clearly the TR-3B triangle doing the rounds********
- I'm not aware of any meteors that all of sudden speed up and maneuver around each other.utopian
- me neithercanoe
- must be aliens throwing 3 frisbees into earth's atmosphere then.uan
- Why not 3 jets maneuvering on postcombustion?OBBTKN
- and because aliens are so awesome, the 3 frisbees flew and stayed on the same plane.uan
- @OBBTKN when was captain obvious fun?********
- Cool, nice capture!slappy
- How would you know if these were flying 1,000 or 40,000 ft up? Seems hard to estimate when it’s just dots.monospaced
- ^As I mentioned earlier, it's my best estimated guess. Using flight tracker data and 20+ years as a photographer, you learn a bit about distance.futurefood
- ...I'm shooting some video so I can eventually make a post showing how I can get a strong estimate of object distancefuturefood
