Some of the singles I picked up the other week at the once a year Groovy Record Fayre in North London hosted by Jonny Trunk. I managed to make a few quid despite the expenses of stall hire, parking, congestion charge, petrol, food etc. It was so busy, if you have never been I recommend it!
I picked this up at a car boot at the weekend and it came with it's original info sheet - I've already been in touch with the Hermitage Academy here in Scotland. It will be interesting to hear if they know any more about it and get back to me.
A spoken word acetate which I couldn't find anything out online, but there is an author called James Richardson so I suppose I'll have to try and track him down too. Some kind person sent me a download of this over 10 years ago and so to find a hard copy in a Milton Keynes charity shop for a quid was a quite an emotional moment, ha!
Groovy Record Fayre fynds
One sided promo for the shoe company.Apparently huge in Europe and still going strong but I had never heard of them before finding this. It bombed in the same year that Space had a pretty similar disco smash hit with Magic Fly.
I was kinda hoping this was a dub Spider Man tune but it turned out to be called Please Stop Your Lying by Joy White & Ronnie Davis.Just a few of the Indie 7"s a pair of ladies had on their stall for £2 each or 10 for £12, I spent £30 with them.
Other odds and ends I picked up cheap, including some great flexi-discs I hadn't seen before.
