Fell into the bank call scam :( got robbed, bank blaming me... FML

- I have change my credit card several times this year as it was used my someone in another geographical area that I have never visited.Salarrue
- I got a call to confirm that. And that is it. But then the scammer replicated the same process and somehow new my bank info so it reset my password...Salarrue
- Since the bank sends a secure SMS to confirm access, the cleverly used the same process and I gave the code...Salarrue

- Happened to me once with a forged cheque; (sh)it happens / upwards and onwards. Plead the 5th, get the $ back and move on. NEVER AGAIN!!!

- Happened to my ex. Was on the phone for a long time. They had her banking # and SS. Then they asked for her PIN and she was like... FU! and hung up.fooler
