Just ordered that new UGREEN NASync DH2300 yesterday + two 8TB Seagate Iron Wolf drives to use as RAID 1. Drives have arrived, NAS yet to arrive. £450 all in and seems to have most of the features of the more expensive UGREEN NAS
Paying £20p/m for 4TB dropbox atm. Should pay for itself in a couple of years.
- also OP you are a madman. 6 bay NAS not enough... my current NAS is 7 years old, 1TB and cost almost as much as this 8TB. why overspec?kingsteven
- So will you have something offsite too?kalkal
- It is remotely accessible, modern NAS is like hosting your own cloud service. It's a computer in its own right and can run custom servers using dockerkingsteven
- i mostly need NAS because I work with video across 3 computers and my 1TB and cloud uploading not cutting it but will work out something with backup...kingsteven
- there are backup services offering 8TB for £4p/m in the UKkingsteven
